TaNefer has worked as a hospital-based lactation consultant for 8 years, 3 years as a WIC Peer Counselor and Certified lactation educator. Her specialties include:

• Breastfeeding/chestfeeding  preterm infants 

• Supporting lactation after breast surgery (reduction or augmentation) 

• Tongue-tie and other oral ties 

• Milk production, low supply, and relactation/induced lactation  

• Postpartum nutrition & lactogenic foods 

Lactation Consultation

Initial consultation - $250-300 in person | $200- Virtual

An Initial Lactation Visit includes:

• Breast/Chest Exam: A noninvasive breast exam to identify possible causes of painful nursing or low milk supply.

• Infant Oral Exam: A comprehensive assessment of your baby's mouth to identify possible causes of painful breastfeeding/chestfeeding.

• Weight Check: Provides information on weight trends and milk intake.

• Observation of a Feed: A visual assessment of a breast/chest/bottle feed from start to finish

• Care Plan: A step by step plan to help you overcome the challenges you are experiencing

• Superbill for insurance reimbursement

Lactation Follow up - $150-$250*

Each Follow up includes a weight check, feeding observation & assessment, and adjustments to the feeding plan to get you to your goals.

Support Group

Midnight Milk Club virtual support for infant feeding, pregnancy, and postpartum. Every Friday night at 9 pm PT. ( some special events may have different times and dates)
